BEFORE
Numbing, if needed
Depending on how deep your treatment goes, a numbing cream may be applied beforehand to keep things comfortable.
DURING

Warm and tingling
Most people describe the sensation as warm with a tingling feeling. Treatment time depends on the size and depth of the area being treated.
DAY 0–1
Some redness
Expect noticeable redness immediately afterwards. It typically settles within a day.
DAY 2–6
Sandpaper texture
Your skin will feel dry and slightly textured, like fine sandpaper. This is completely normal — it's your skin exfoliating away the old surface.
DAY 7
Fresh skin revealed
As the dry layer sheds, fresher, clearer and more even-toned skin is revealed underneath. Full healing is typically complete within 5–7 days.

Q:Is there any downtime?
A:Downtime is minimal. Most people notice some redness right after treatment but can return to normal activities straight away — makeup can usually be applied following your aftercare instructions. Full healing generally takes 5 to 7 days.
Q:What does it actually feel like?
A:It varies from person to person, but most describe it as mild to moderate — many tolerate it with no numbing cream at all. If you'd prefer extra comfort, a topical numbing cream can be applied beforehand.
Q:How long does a session take?
A:Anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated. A lot of clients call it a "lunchtime facial" because it's quick enough to fit around a busy day.
Q:How many treatments will I need?
A:It depends on your goals and the condition being treated. Some people see a noticeable change after just one session, while others get the best results from a short series. Your dermal therapist will map out a plan tailored to your skin.
